With thinning Arctic Sea ice and melting Permafrost layers in Northern regions, our Planet is in a more precarious situation than ever before, due to global warming.

The main contributor of Earth warming greenhouse gas emissions is methane from animal farming, which is more than emissions from all the world's transport combined.

Much of deforestation and land and water degredation is also directly and indirectly due to cattle grazing, fish farming and pollution from factory farm waste.

With up to 30 times the global warming potential of CO2, methane is also a much shorter lived greenhouse gas than CO2, 8 years compared to 100 years, which means that quick reductions can help bring about changes much quicker than controlling CO2 levels.

A change to an animal free diet can quickly bring about changes to the climate and avoid crossing a point of no return.

Simply controlling CO2 emissions and continuing on an animal-based diet can push us beyond more tipping points as pointed out by NASA's top climatologists, and can trigger release of gigatonnes of frozen Methane into the atmosphere, from northern oceans and lakes, which can bring about catastrophic runaway global warming.
